Sacred Heart Church has experienced rapid growth in recent years. Current residential developments and open land for future developments point toward continued growth in the years ahead. The present physical facilities are insufficient for this growth. Three adjacent properties have been purchased with expansion in mind.

All current facilities, including church, school, social hall, meeting rooms and parking need enlargement. A gymnasium/social center is also needed. Current financial resources will not permit a single construction program to meet all the needs.

The master plan study sought to explore all viable schemes for a functional and orderly expansion, including cost estimates for all elements of the plan and establishment of priorities for a phased program of growth.

The first phase was the school expansion, completed in 1992. The second phase was the church expansion and social hall as well as the relocation and addition to the rectory and parish offices. This phase was completed in the fall of 2002.
